St. Anne’s Hostel

For over 30 years, we have played a vital role in caring for Birmingham’s homeless, providing a bed, food and support for homeless men aged over 25, a group often overlooked and sidelined. Thanks to the work of our dedicated team and help from supporters, our residents have a place where they can achieve a degree of stability, with many finding new homes and starting new lives.

One of the most important aspects of St Anne’s’ service is that we let residents keep their dogs on site – we are one of only a couple of hostels in the West Midlands that does this.

Referring new residents

St Anne’s takes referrals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, if a vacancy is available.

We cater for single males 25 years old and over. There is no upper limit although residents need to be fully mobile and have only low needs. To secure accommodation they will need proof of income and identification.

The service charge we ask for covers utility costs, half board which included breakfast and dinner and access to a support worker who will work with individuals to reach personal goals and ultimately move on into independent living.  We also have an activity co-ordinator who will be looking at constructive activities with residents with a view to help build life skills and reduce isolation.

Please call 0121 772 4406 if you wish to see if a vacancy is available or you have any questions around referring.
